We tried to play with a female shepherd mix, but she didn't really care to be bothered and was having a blast barking up a tree at a squirrel. All Sheebs wants to do is get someone, anyone to chase after her. If that means you chase her because she is aggravating you, then so be it! No one was in the mood to play, so she just chased everyone, but kept her distance from the other female who barked at her a couple times and growled when they were near the shepherd's owner.
Then came our old friend, a pitt/boxer mix named Max. Max loves to growl while being chased and Sheba loves that she can be vocal with him. She barks, which is rare, so this is quite a loud playing pair. (Love the poetry)
She was getting the usual comments about her looking like a fox and about her beauty. I rather enjoyed talking about all of the qualities my girl had, especially after one of the humans mentioned to his significant other about how the 'little dog' just jumped 'this high' in the air without even running. Yeah buddy, my Sheba is graceful and swift and she's the new love in my life!
